I'm a 26-year old writer and compulsive traveler (hate: red-eyes, scuzzy hotels, the entire state of Florida; love: lie-flat seats, Kimpton Hotels, airline lounges), and was once an urban studies major, so my blog tends to lean in the direction of travel and city stories. 

I'm also news-obsessed and try to begin each day by checking headlines from Boston, San Francisco, Toronto and a slew of less exciting but still interesting places like Buffalo and Bangor.

My blog is about nothing and everything. Some days it's gay, some days it's travel, and some days it's about life in New York and Vancouver. I often joke that my mission in life is to inform Americans about Canada (especially on geography), so over time my blog has shifted from a travel journal to a collection of news links from both sides of the border. And now, with less and less time to blog about news like I used it, it's swinging back toward being a collection of my wanderings.
